Shopping at the Niederrhein

Among other things, the many picturesque towns of the Niederrhein region offer quite a number of delightful fashion, crafts and flower shops. Farm stores and bakeries with a wide variety of homemade goodies and regional specialities are also typical for the Niederrhein and the locals. The region’s products are popular souvenirs, of course.

Of the many shopping centres and shopping promenades the “Kö” (Königsallee = King’s boulevard) in Düsseldorf is the best-known internationally. But the more recent CentrO in Oberhausen is nothing to sneeze at either. Get to know the country and its people in an environment which is not the typical tourist fare!
